Meetup Schedule (6:30 PM – 8:30 PM)

6:30 PM – 6:45 PM: Free Chat

Meet on the 9th Floor near the elevator.

Arrive and chat freely.

Wear a name tag with your name and a language you can teach. (Optional)

6:45 PM – 7:10 PM: English Practice 25 Minutes

We will move to the outdoor balcony if the weather is nice.

English learners will join an English speaker to form small groups. Start practicing as soon as you have a group.

I will hand out a Language Flag for each foreign language.

7:10 PM – 8:00 PM: Foreign Language Practice 50 Minutes

English Learners go to a language flag they can teach.

English speakers go to the flag they want to learn.

Leftover teachers join the next best group.

8:00 PM – 8:25 PM: English Practice 25 Minutes

Switch back to English!

Find a new English speaker to practice with.

Do not go back to the same person you practiced with earlier.

8:25 PM – 8:30 PM: Closing Time

The library closes at 8:30pm, please help clean up our space.
